The first thing to notice about these Eldraine lands is that they will work best in a

mono-colored setup. That was one of the primary features of the ELD set, and the new

"adamant" mechanic attempts to promote this style of archetype. Honestly, I'm looking at it

as though there may be things of redeeming value hidden within any of these new sets, but I

don't have much interest in trying to put them to use, given that the game is beleaguered in

bullshit. I want to point out the cards that may be interesting to me, in a format that doesn't

include any of the current nonsense. It won't really be possible to say whether or not a card

like this will have a lot of value, because I don't have an opportunity to test it. At glance, I'd

say that the fundamental mechanic involved will be irrelevant against any of the high-powered

tricks you might run into, unless you are simply going for an extreme aggro setup (involving a

line-up of small red creatures that might buff, trample, haste, blow-up or whatever else they

commonly do), in which case you won't have to think for yourself - Simply pull up the red

archetypes on the internet, and copy those powerhouse designs. It will get you a lot of easy

wins, but without the inherent satisfaction of successfully designing and learning to do

something personal and unique. As they say, "No points for creativity!", which is only ever

true because uncreative and incapable types want to beat down their superiors. I might go to

great lengths to inspire myself with some elaborate, strategic design that included this card,

but anyone copying everyone else's simple-minded bad Magic might ruin the effort without

having to make any real effort of their own. Why accept it? That which is unacceptable should

always be recognized as an invasion and a corruption, and justly dealt with, despite how ever

many cry-babies whine about it. No greater tragedy than to satisfy a crying baby who was

only playing a wicked trick on his parent, and growing more confident every time it worked.
