2/10/19 - "The One and the Many" Ideology clearly stands against artists, especially REAL artists, who genuinely care about producing meaningful art...Most people reject art when they see it, considering it unimportant, or someone's "play-time". The purpose of existence was to make art, and to be an artist is to be a reflection of your Creator. Human beings are uniquely capable of producing art and communicating, yet most of you neglect it. You will only speak in "small talk", and never give a thought to much but money, sports, or sex. It defines you as animals to me, rather than reflections of our Creator. The disrespect I receive (Mostly an unspoken, condescending attitude) for being a real artist is incredible. A lot of people will respect trivial art or music. But most people hate Nirvana, and don't really care about masters in art. They think that a super-realistic drawing of the interior of a car is completely radical, while abstract, symbolic art is meaningless, untalented bullshit. God did realism. That's already done. Now, as creations, we can move on to surrealism and abstract concepts in art, because that's all there is left to do. Why reproduce the given reality? It's really hard, and really boring, and I can't think of any deeper meaning in doing it. The animal people just like it because they think it's an incredible feat, like diving off of a high bridge, or something. My points are, then, that 1. art is seen as "uncool" or irrelevant in the "real world", and 2. even when art gets respected, the REAL artists still aren't. Popular forms of art truly ARE trivial and unimportant, and important art is neglected. Who needs to straighten out their priorities? The Many, or the One? Socrates said that the One knows, and the Many must follow him for knowledge. The Many are mindless lemmings, all diving off of bridges for popularity, n' shit... |
