10/21/17 - "The Ring of Fire" The entertainment industry is a circus, the entertainer a trickster or stunt-man... All your heroes ran away from their lives to the great illusion! Come one, come all! But, tricks are for kids. I stopped watching TV when I was in high school and stopped watching movies in my early 20s... I consider it immature, a waste of my time. Even the serious side of it is the biggest trick of all! Politics are a circus at its worst, displaying caricatures of all the public personalities involved. You might resign yourself that life is a circus, and think I shouldn't take it so seriously and try to enjoy myself... But in reality the clowns are making bombs and the audience is a frenzied mob looking for sacrifice. Most people have been sucked into the culture like mosquitos into a lantern. The fire in that lantern the fury the culture inspires in the hearts of susceptible children - fury for money, popularity or generalized victory in a brutal, sudden-death arena. This, of course, causes a great deal of hatred and much outrageous behavior. Gossip, ridicule and harassment, are common occurences; but the truth is, they are all a constant in the minds of most people who are "into" people. It's the thing they crave most out of life, and it is an attempt to mock God. It is Satan tittering under the smiles of little, gossipy girls, and they are all too aware of theirselves. They secretly want sorrow, they want to ruin lives, and they rejoice when they have finally achieved someone's damnation. Then the little devils go dancing, dancing around a great fire at the "Burning Man" festival. No, as a musician who plays music that has the popular vitality necessary to be a new "Nirvana", I would never even consider respecting the culture's festival by playing at it. It's a pathetic cult with an evil wish, a desperate cry for divine help to aid them in their lust for pain. No such help will come. Be careful what you wish for. God is in no mood to entertain and please a tribe of hedonists who want something for nothing. They worship life, claim to celebrate love... But the source of these things has abandoned them. There is one rightful representative of these things which they falsely attribute to theirselves, and He will represent them as Himself. That one will deny these things to anyone who has not shown theirselves to be worthy, while the cult grovels for them in vain. In a flash, Kurt Cobain appeared and condemned you all as fools for yourselves, worthy of no honor. He disappeared as quickly as he came, and many secretly celebrated it as ultimate victory. It is impossible to deny that the people whom he identified as "stupid and contagious" felt triumph at his suicide. "We're not losers, you are.", they said. But he was merely a harbinger, and the doom he declared in his most popular song hadn't come yet. He paid respect to the reality that was upon us all by sacrificing his life for the knowledge that he had about your world. There is one life, and it is impossible to be shared. It belongs to the One, and to Him it has returned. No one respects life but the One, no matter how convincing the lies of His false reflection make theirselves. His reflection wants to be like Him, but it perverts every component of His being. The reflection must realize that its purpose is to serve as an expression of God's mind, not for theirselves, but for Him. Look at nature's beauty, its perfect and majesty. The conscious beings need to live up to that splendor as well, being the artwork of an all-powerful and benevolent artist. Follow the lead of an artist, therefore, and make yourself a useful instrument. God's goal in creation is evident. It is not to burn down, but to create something pristine. If the structure of human society displeases the artist, it must be destroyed and created to be a worthy expression of God's own image. Don't burn down a Man, but rather his illusions of grandeur. Your love and celebration of yourselves is hopeless and premature. I'm sure with great expectation everyone hoped that the One would be pleased by their creation, and failed to accept that He was not. There are many reasons that the One is not satisfied with your work, which I can identify to you by knowing His mind. |
